Uçhisar in Cappadocia In the Tekelli quarter at the eastern side of the village are still some tuff rock cones in use by the people. About 50km away, just visible in the mist, is the Erciyes Dağ, an exstinct volcano and with a height of 3916m the highest mountain of central Anatolia.
