This room is dedicated to the experimental car Brutus. After World War I all the British race car drivers in Brooklands needed was power. Some of them mounted aircraft engines on a strong chassis for the racings. The Brutus is based on this idea. A 12 cylinder BMW aircraft engine from WW I was mounted on a chassis from 1907. The engine has a cubic capacity of 47 liters and a max. of 750 hp! Every 2nd weekend in May you can see the Brutus live in the Technikmuseum Speyer.
